Dancing with the Waves

I'm enjoying a lazy day! Wrote the following!

Dancing Waves

Dancing amongst the waves
invoked feelings of exhilaration, of freedom
a time to toss aside cares and worries
abandoning them to the strong winds
which caught and whipped them
high above the cliffs and away
across the ocean.

Previous negativity was replaced with
peace and joy
in the beauty of the dancer's surroundings,
as re-awakened, re-newed
she moved gracefully across the sandy stage.

The wind caught and lifted the folds
of her long red gown as it floated about her
whilst her feet moved through the water.

Spray rose as the dancer circled,
leaped and turned, moving on graceful feet,
water droplets catching sunlight, sparkling!
surrounding her in a circlet of Crystals!

Completing this dance sequence against a
backdrop of aqua water laced at the edges with white froth
the water flowed gracefully about this dancer of waves!
